Kazuki Onohara: A Japanese artist blending traditional Japanese theater painting with contemporary street art. Born in Chiba, he worked as a scenic artist for major theaters like Kabuki-za before moving to New York City in 2022 to pursue contemporary art. He now works at Tomokazu Matsuyama’s studio while developing his own practice.
Onohara’s art combines Japanese motifs with modern influences. His recent works were featured in the "Moderation Biased" exhibition at NowHere in NYC, and he also conducts workshops on techniques like silkscreen printing.
